AUTOPSY CONFIRMS STUDENT DIES FROM GOALPOST

PrintRichard Thomas Rose, a 20 year old student at Minnesota-Morris died as a result of a falling goalpost according to the autopsy. Rose was among the many rowdy Cougar fans who took down the goal post in celebrating Morris' win over Crown College 34-28 in double overtime on their homecoming.

I just imagine this autopsy playing out like some old SNL sketch, where the body is lying on a slab covered by a white sheet with a three foot lump sticking up, and then the ME solemnly removes the sheet, sees a huge yellow metal spike sticking through the guys chest, and deadpans into the recorder, “Preliminary results indicate death by goalpost.”
