COOL CHICKEN PREDICTS SOUTH CAROLINA’S SEASON
In honor of USC kicking off the college football season tomorrow, the Cool Chicken Returns (who still suffers from a cardinal blog sin of no blog roll which we too suffered from in our infancy) has predicted the results for the entire season, down to the final score. Despite being an unabashed USC nut, the predictions are filled with realistic optimism.

I think the Cool Chicken’s been pecking in one of those illegal patches. South Carolina will lose at least (6) games.

I told em not to grow the chronic so close to my coop. They did any. In any case, good opinion. I think it is wrong…
Which games will we lose and why?
Oh and what the hell is a blog roll? (googling)

Look to the right of most of the College Football Blogs and you’ll find links to each bloggers favorite other blogs which lets readers find other bloggers who they might also enjoy.

I believe USC plays on Saturday against Hawaii. However, Soth Carolina is playing a game against UCF. Should be fun to watch.

I should have been more specific by stating that it is the historically underperforming USC which is starting the season, not the kick-ass USC team in the McDonald’s uniforms.

We (South Carolina) are THE USC… they (Southern California) are THE OTHER USC.
Maybe outside of Columbia it is seen differently. Not here. Never here.

Well, THE USC sucks. THE OTHER USC doesn’t.

For the record, THE USC was founded in 1801. Last time I checked, California wasn’t even founded until about 50 years later. Details.

It is irrelevant when South Carolina was founded. No one should be calling them USC. They are South Carolina, which is a state. Southern California is not a state, which is why it makes better sense to call them USC. Anyway, S. Carolina saw fit to break up the Union. Just one more reason.

Hah! One more politico-historical straw man used to assail the South. Good one.

Cocks. Trojans. Why bother with the institutional names with such innuendo-rich names?

Well, I don’t know about Southern Cal, but in Columbia its a regulation thing to “Rock Out with Your Cock Out.”
“Yeah bitch, that’s how we get down.”
