TOP RECRUIT TO FORGO NBA FOR AGGIE FOOTBALL GLORY

PrintTexas A&M football signee Martellus Bennett was one of the top recruits in the state of Texas, but was also a major NBA prospect. The 6 foot 7 tight end, ranked #1 at his position by Rivals.com, threw his hat in the ring of the NBA draft hoping for the riches of a first round pick. Now that he has no such assurances of that goal, he's on to plan B which involves playing football and basketball for the Aggies this year.
