NOTRE DAME UPDATE: STUDENT SECTION GETTING A NEW LOOK?
Many love Notre Dame. Many hate them. But everyone has to recognize that they have a student section that represents on gameday. Although small by comparison to many of its rivals and the other giants of the college game, the students of Notre Dame show up in droves to support the golden domers on Saturday. I must admit, the sight the student section dressed uniformly in green shirts for the last three years has looked pretty darn cool… the sea of green. Now, however, there is a bit of a controversy brewing over the new shirt for next years’ students which has departed from its green tradition and will be a more yellow or gold color. The uniform effect of everyone in the same color might remain cool, but isn’t that a little too close to Michigan or Boston College’s colors???
