Shouts out to the good people at VolTalk, who have quantified the meaningless of life by installing a clock ticking off the seconds to kickoff. Just don't let go of the controller, console people...that's when the ice weasels come...

Dude, kickass site. You could totally go off on college football video games, too, that would be an excellent sub-blog. “Does Peerfree Nguygen really have that breakaway speed?”…that sort of thing.

And getting into the video game side of games gets you closer to my contact set, too. We still run www.rpgfan.com, which is actually making money for 2004 (I still have to do the taxes), and has doen so by making contacts with the game developers, eventually getting to the point where we get boxes of games for review, promo items (a couple of free GBAs), that sort of thing. Ideas, ideas….
